Evolution cutlery is inspired by sprouting seeds and young spring plants and is expressed in the contemporary language of a fast changing metropolitan reality. Young shoots have a symbolic meaning of the unrestrained power which is hidden in young plants, thrusting energetically towards light.
The purpose of the set is to create an exotic aura and unleash a feeling of hidden power in the imagination making the everyday act of eating exciting and unusual. Characteristic features of this cutlery set are courageous forms, a fresh look and a search for innovative solution. The design took joint first prize in a 2006 design competition organised by Gerlach S.A.
